Investing Through the Cycles in the Oil and Gas Sector
Auxano Energy Partners’ core strategy is to acquire undervalued assets and leverage intelligent structuring, cost-conscious operations and the trading expertise of AEP partners to grow value. We are equity investors with a preference for control positions although we will also consider strategic minority investments. With deep experience across multiple economic and commodity cycles, we are not opposed to contrarian strategies provided there is a clear path to sustainable cash flows.

The Team
Beau Egert
Beau serves as Managing Director of Auxano Energy Partners where he leads the firm’s investment strategy. He brings over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector and he has led each aspect of the investment process including sourcing, evaluation, structuring, deal execution and asset management. Most recently he led business development efforts for Green River Production, LLC., a PDP-focused portfolio company of Trilantic Capital Partners. Previous positions include Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Atinum Energy Investments where he was responsible for the management of over $1.4bn in upstream assets. Prior to his time at Atinum, Beau led corporate development for Mosbacher Energy Company and also served as Special Assistant to Chairman and former Secretary of Commerce Robert Mosbacher Sr.
Beau has a Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, from Baylor and a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University. He and his wife, Allison, reside in Friendswood, Texas with their three children, Grace, Lane and Ruby.
Adam Gillon
Adam serves as Chief Technical Advisor to Auxano Energy Partners where he leads technical analysis for acquisitions and divestitures. He has nearly 10 years of reservoir engineering experience across services and upstream with a focus on A&D evaluation. Most recently he led A&D efforts for Green River Production, LLC., a PDP-focused portfolio company of Trilantic Capital Partners. Previously, Adam was an Engineering Associate on the Integrated Subsurface team in the Investment Banking division at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Company. During this time he was responsible for technical analysis across upstream, infrastructure, oilfield service, capital solutions, M&A, restructuring and international engagements. Prior positions include Reserve Engineer at Marathon Oil with roles in Exploration, Eagle Ford Subsurface, Business Development and an internship with Baker Hughes in their Reservoir Solution Engineering Team.
Adam has a Bachelor of Science from Marietta College in Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor of Science from University of Central Florida in Civil Engineering.
Adam is from Melbourne, Florida and currently resides in Houston, Texas.
